Call for Presenters: TESIConnect

The Technology in Education Special Interest Council is planning an Educational Technology conference, TESIConnect, for our membership throughout Newfoundland and Labrador. The focus of the conference is Technology in Education with the goal of building educator capacity to foster student creation through digital technology. This conference will take place in two parts, in-person and virtual.

We will connect our members in person on April 28-29th, 2023, at Emera Innovation Exchange Conference Centre, in St. John's. We will hold a keynote address and social during the evening of Friday, April 28th. Throughout the day on Saturday, April 29th, we will hold concurrent breakout sessions. In an effort to be more equitable and increase accessibility to professional learning opportunities, we will be offering a virtual opportunity on Saturday, May 6th.

At this time, we are putting out a call for presenters to teachers, district/department personnel, community partners, etc. If you have a session idea that you would like to be considered for this conference, please complete the form below. Your application will be reviewed by our executive and communication will be made in December to let you know if your session has been chosen. If your session is chosen, your registration fees for the conference will be waived.
